PDO Threads

PDO (polydioxanone) thread lifts are a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involve the use of dissolvable sutures (threads) to lift and tighten sagging skin. The threads are made of PDO, a safe and biocompatible material that has been used in medical sutures for many years.

During a PDO thread lift, fine, absorbable threads are inserted into the skin using a needle or cannula. Next, the threads are manipulated to tighten and lift the skin. As the skin is lifted, it stimulates collagen production, which helps to further improve the appearance of the skin. The threads are then secured in place to maintain the lift, and the ends of the threads are trimmed. Over time, the threads will dissolve and be safely absorbed by the body.
